VP
The conventional flat bottom triple tube has been retired from the Manitou line-up and the last of this style of boat has been replaced with the new VP. The VP incorporates similar hull characteristics of the SHP but is designed for more moderate speeds and lower horsepower ratings. Along with the standard Teleflex SeaStar hydraulic steering, the VP provides the maneuverability you expect from our V-Toon® hull. The VP is a surprisingly competitive value making it an obvious choice for boaters looking for hours of tubing and skiing excitement.
Strategically engineered lifting strakes provide quicker acceleration and reduced time to plane, making the terms hole-shot and pontoon boat synonymous.
To match the demands of our performance pontoons, extra extruded aluminum hat shaped cross members are installed in the stern and bow of these boats.
Tube design and larger motors result in higher top end speeds and stability in calm or rough water.
The oversized center tube and lifting strakes allow for unprecedented maneuvers while eliminating flat cornering and banking to the outside.
